Ali Kemal ATEŞ graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy Bachelor’s Program in 2012. He completed his compulsory military service as a Officer in reserve between 2012 and 2013. He started his professional career in 2014 as the owner and manager of Ateş Pharmacy. In 2015, he ceased his commercial activities and began his academic career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Dicle University. He graduated from the Doctoral Program in Analytical Chemistry at the Institute of Health Sciences at Ankara University in 2021, which he began in 2016. In the same year, he began working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Dicle University, where he continues to serve today. His research areas include drug analysis, development and validation of analytical methods, synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, production of electrochemical sensors and their analytical applications, electroanalytical chemistry, and spectrophotometry. He has published 8 research articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented 17 papers at international conferences and symposia and 1 paper at national conferences and symposia. He has participated as a researcher in 1 completed scientific research project, 1 completed Horizon 2023 project, and 1 ongoing TUBİTAK 1001 project. He has also participated as a principal investigator in 2 completed and 1 ongoing scientific research projects, as well as 1 completed TUBİTAK 1002 project. According to Web of Science data, his H-index is 5, and his work has received 86 citations. He is a member of the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association. He is fluent in English. He is married and has two children. He holds an advanced diving license.
